Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Bluejay Media. By engaging in our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding.

1. Services Provided

Bluejay Media offers professional video production and editing services, including but not limited to filming, post-production editing, and audio capture. Additional services, such as drone footage or multi-camera setups, may be requested for an additional fee.

2. Rates and Payment

  • Hourly Rate: $250/hr for filming and $150/hr for editing. A $650 minimum applies to all projects.

  • Day Rates: Social Kit - $1,300/day | Full Kit - $1,750/day

  • Crew Fees: $650/day for skilled crew members and $300/day for general support roles.

  • Admin Fee: $50 per project.

  • Travel: The first 10 miles from our base are included. Additional mileage is billed at 67 cents per mile in accordance with the IRS standard rate.

  • Hard Drive Fee: A $200 fee applies for physical hard drives if requested.

  • Rush Editing: A 1.5x multiplier applies for expedited editing requests.

Payment is subject to a 50/50 model: 50% due upon booking and 50% due on the day of the production. Additional charges may apply for changes made after project completion.

3. Revisions Policy

Each project includes one round of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed at the applicable hourly editing rate. Feedback for revisions must be provided within 7 days of receiving the initial video.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the scheduled shoot may incur a fee of up to $350.

  • Cancellations made after project commencement may result in additional charges to cover time and resources used.

5. Overtime

For any production exceeding 8 hours in a single day, an overtime rate of 1.5x the hourly rate will apply.

6. Liability and Client Responsibilities

Bluejay Media will take every precaution to ensure professional and high-quality production. However, we are not liable for unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to equipment failure, natural disasters, or acts of third parties. Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary location permits or clearances.

7. Ownership and Usage

Upon final payment, clients receive the rights to use the produced content for its intended purpose. Bluejay Media retains the right to use project materials for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

8. Confidentiality

All information and materials provided to Bluejay Media will remain confidential and will not be shared without client consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Arizona. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration or legal proceedings within this jurisdiction.
